Do I need a referral? Is counselling covered by a mental health plan?

You do not need a referral. While Considered Counselling is not covered by a mental health plan, appointment fees are set to match the average gap payment that you would be paying with a plan. This also means that I can provide as many sessions as necessary, and we would not have to work around the 10 session limit that comes with a mental health plan.

Do you see children or teenagers? What about international clients?

I do not offer counselling to individuals younger than 18. Due to different international licensing and regulation requirements, I also do not offer counselling to international clients.

I’m LGBTQI. Is this service for me?

Considered Counselling is proud to be LGBTQI-friendly. Clients of any sexuality and gender are welcome here.
